Twitter Koobface infections rocket skyward

21 July 2009
We have a lift off!

One week after we reported Koobface hitting Twitter and microblogging system's vain attempts of purging the affected accounts, our stats show that the worm continues to spread at a high pace.

This means at least three things:

a) Some of the Twitter users don't pay too much attention to what they click.

b) Some of the Twitter users aren't too concerned about security.

c) Some of the Twitter users don't have a reliable/updated antimalware solution on their systems.

The top three are often rated as the nicest countries in the world, but really are the most naive. I am a Canadian and can attest to the fact that most Canadians are dumb.
I do tech support.
Telling my fellow Canadians that their computer has an "on" button makes their day.

Mostly game users ignore the fact that the game issues can be related to your internal Windows settings. For

instance, the corrupted registry keys created by the game may not only cause it to crash but also cause it to run

extremely slow with frequent lags. In such a case you should try running a perfect Registry Cleaner and PC Optimizer

software.
