Samantha Geimer sexual abuse in late ‘70s boosted not only the media allover the world, but offered an unexpected opportunity for spammers advertising sex drugs. 140-characters-long messages advocating Viagra, Cialis and other "health pills" started spreading via Twitter this morning.

So far, the shortened URLs direct the curious users towards the real news Web sites.

It is probably a matter of hours until we will see the first links leading towards sites distributing malware.

I am ready to bet a cup of coffee on Personal Antivirus Rogue, the same that gave headaches to the unprotected Harry Potter aficionados and unguarded NYTimes Readers couple months ago.
