And so do spammers and phishers, trying to empty your wallet or to steal some data, especially since the burning vacation days (and nights) are approaching with the speed of light. It's normal, because sex always sells. As our latest E-Threats Landscape Report shows, sex, porn and dating contents represent five percents of the total amount of spam.

The latest spam waves, which allegedly seek partners for a neglected Ashley, Tanya or Savannah, focus on harvesting valid e-mail addresses. Additionally, the e-crooks behind might also want to eventually dupe some naïve (please read "desperate") users into sending some cash to a P.O. box.

Social networking sites are under siege these days too. Twitter is swamped into the If you're down and DISEASE FREE let's do it "competition". E-criminals use automatically created bogus accounts to send spam advertising "dating" sites - simple and cost-effective platforms for ID/money theft and malware distribution.

To conclude, if you want "hot chicks", don't click "sexy" links. Just go to the beach.
